August is hectic month!

! So ya sorry for my lack of updates. The past several weeks have been
hectic! Seriously from going to Pennslyvania for
white water rafting, to camping upstate, and now getting ready for dun dun dun...
school
My classes start this Thursday already! Gah! I still need to get new glasses (one I lost it on my bus ride home, the other I just lost and don't know where

), especially with my
horrible eye sight? *shakes head* Honestly my eyesight is so bad that I can't tell who a person is that's only 4 ft away from me. They need to be within a 2 foot radius for me to tell who it us.
I'M BLINDD!
But that doesn't matter anyway since I have a good senses. What I basically mean is that I'm good at sensing things by movements, seeing things from the corner of my eye, etc. It helps.

So what have I been doing this whole month? Well first there was our rafting trip in Pennslyvania. We went
white water rafting for the first time with our close family friends and neighbors.
It.Was.FUNNNN ! Honestly I was like omg!

It was about 3 1/2-4 hours down the river and want to hear the coolest,
mysterious,
magical, part of our trip? A black and blue butterfly stayed with us for about a half hour during our ride down the river. Literally. After we had our lunch we saw this black butterfly hovering around us and then it flew to our raft. It just stayed on top of my brothers shirt and we were like aw. When my dad moved the shirt however because we were getting back in the raft it didn't fly away it just stayed on. We were like

. Why isn't it moving and flying away? So when we started rafting again and the buttefly was
still with us my mom was like 'Their is a spirit with us'. My aunt said the same thing when I told her when we came home. Lol. But it really was a fascinating experience.

Then there was our annual camping trip with our pinoy group,
Paaralang Pinoy just this past weekend. Alright the first 2 days was just ew. Seriously I was so
bored out of my mind I was ready to strangle myself.

We did nothing and I basically just stayed in my tent or went to this boulder right by the lake and just stayed there listening to music and reading on my phone. Or I just slept. LOL. But Saturday they
finally had the common sense to start doing something productive instead of just staying around doing nothing. First thing we did? Kayaking!

My dad was like are you coming? I asked where? Kayaking. I was like

YES! LOL. So we went kayaking in this lake, well I went kayaking, others went on rowboats. First went with this little girl, who I consider as a little sister to me. She was like Ate Slipper (my nickname all the little kids call me.) can I come with you? Ah she's just so cute!
But of course after awhile she was like I'm
tired! Her poor little arms were tired after 10-15 min. of moving the paddle left and right so I told her if she wanted to go with her mom on the row boat. She nodded and I dropped her off with her parents. Then my poor brother, the crazy one, who didn't get a chance to go kayaking yet because he was waiting for my other brother and these 2 other kids to come but the dad got lost so they weren't able to come down so he joined me. We basically ditched the area everyone else was in and went to the other side of the area to where they couldn't see us. But of course Mike and his dad followed us. LOL.

Doesn't this look like a face? LOL well I see it so for those who can't see it, try harder. This tree was right in front of our campsite and when my tatay (dad), was setting up the tent I turned around and was like woah. First thing I saw were the eyes then the rest of the face. As you guys know I'm a Pagan Animist and I do believe that there are spirits in everything. This just so happens to be the face of this tree.

Thou it looks more like a ram, or bull face then human in my opinion.

My brother. Not the crazy one mind you but the innocent, baby of the family., Jason or J.P.

One of our lunch buffets! Oh the food. And see those 2 guys on the left? Haha, them and their other brother is so funny. Crazy anime hair asian dude! His name is Mike but I just call him that.

And this lovely specimen is the result of a curious kid combining his love of whipped cream and lasagna. He lost his appetite after that.

The only 2 white dudes with a whole group of Filipino's.

The one in the middle is actually one of the dads of the kids, but the on on the left we met him that day. His name was John and he was in the marine's I think? Something with the military and was coming by the camp area as a resting point. He told us he was traveling toward Maine where he was assigned and was just taking quick stops every now and then, so after that he went straight to Manhattan for one more night then is continuing up. We invited him to join us because we felt bad because one, his camp site was dead center of everyone else's and us pinoy's are
LOUD. We party till dawn.

So because he was in the center of everything, and where we all ate our food, gathered together, etc. we invited him to join us and of course he agreed. He became our
'special guest' for the night and becoming one of our judges for our Talent Show. The girl on the right, Faye, just talked to him for awhile. And don't let her looks fool you.
How old do you think she is? 18? In her early 20's?
WRONG! She's 30. Yes. 30.

I was actually shocked when she told me when were chillin out by the beach avoiding the mass, her because she doesn't want to go and me because I'm not Christian. I was like
REALLY?!? Haha. She admitted she doesn't even act like her age so it helps as well. But kudo's to her. When I first met her when she came to my house with my friend Jasmine, her cousin, and introduced herself to me I thought she was in her early 20's. So it was a shocker when she said she was 30.

And this is Jasmine (the girl laughing on the far right), and her mom, and older brother. He's actuallly my age but he's one of those
'special kids' and has the mind of a 5 year old. It's quite sad but he's just so adorable and I love him to death! Mess with him you mess with a pissed off me and pissed off sister. I've known them since I was like what? 5 years old? But they are one of our close family friends.

Remember how I said we started doing activities on the 3rd day of camping? Well one of them was musical chairs but our style. Basically the rules are the same but it's with a child and their parent. The newly added rules were that the kids go in one direction, the right, and the parents went the other direction. Then when the music stopped the parent had to grab their kid or the kid grab their parent and drag them to a chair. The catch is that one can't sit in a chair and then call their parent/kid to them.
No. If the parent is on one side and the kid is on the other side of the circle they have to quickly grab each other and sit in a chair
together. Makes it a bit harder huh?
Then there was our tug of war event with both the little girls vs. the boys and the moms vs. the dads. The results this year? Same as every year. The girls and the moms
always win.

Yes. For the past what 4 years? The guys haven't wont
at all. It's a shame really. LOL. That proves how us girls can be much stronger than guys. HA!
Then there was our talent show. My brother used a rice cooker as his music stand for his violin performance.

Proves how Filipino we are that we will improvise to that extent.

He was one of the winners to. I think it was because of the rice cooker thou. LOL. Then there were a few more performances, one of my favorite ones of Kenneth, one of the adorable little boys in the group. He danced to Michael Jackson. So cutee. I have a video of him dancing which I'll post up soon.
And then the last day was ahhh! It rained.
HARD. Was quite a deal packing and putting away the tent in the pouring rain. But it was funnn. We were one of the last families to leave, mine, our other close family friend, and this other family, the dad is the crazy dude who kissed Tito George during the Hawaiian Party.

But ya I stayed with the kids under where the food all was while the parents packed. These kids have such funny thoughts. Their reason for the thunder and raining? The angels were peeing and the thunder is them bowling and getting a strike.

That cracked me up one of the little girls, Jasmine, told me that. Me and Mike just looked at each other and was like haha alright. But geez did it rain so hard. The area around us got flooded that there was big pools of mud all around us. We eventually ran outside in the rain out of boredness. Let's just say by the end of the day I went home soaking wet.
